The Idle Rocks

If you follow me on Instagram you may know already that Fowey holds a very special place in my heart. It was where my husband and I got married last September and we try and get down there for the weekend whenever possible. The only drawback to this is that we don't spend enough time exploring the rest of Cornwall and all the other beautiful spots it has to offer. Last time we were in Fowey we decided to hop in the car and whizz down to The Idle Rocks in St Mawes which is simply one of the most stylish hotels I have discovered recently.
Styled with a home from home approach they have perfected the art of making you feel as comfortable as possible during your stay. We love the mix of bold prints, antique furniture and eclectic modern pieces.
The restaurant serves the most delicious seasonal dishes, focussing heavily on the amazing Cornish local produce.
With 20 individually designed bedrooms to choose from the whole place is bursting with design inspiration.
This boutique hotel is the perfect escape. Here you can spend a lazy weekend drinking coffee on the terrace whilst listening to the gentle clinking of the lines against the boats masts.
